Our first news to report upon is that we have a new member of our pro shop family. Laura has now had her baby, and at this point in writing, we believe she's called Georgina.
We wish Laura, Georgina and her family all the best at this exciting time.

Great Multibuy offers coming your way
On the theme of great value, we are just in the process of finalising some great multibuy deals on balls, grips and gloves which will be perfect to get you through to the end of the summer, or help you prepare for the winter season ahead.

Hickies Laces Coming to your pro shop
The Hickies Lacing System is a modular one, meaning that instead of one lace running through the length of each shoe, you have one unit per pair of eyelets. This allows for a one-size fits all design with maximum customization when it comes to tightness, comfort, security, and color.
These are being worn more and more on tour now by the likes of Danny Willett, and could be a great alternative to normal laces.

Dress Like Dustin For Cheaper
That's right! If you envied Dustin Johnson's golf game at Oakmont, but also his wardrobe, during his maiden major victory, then now is the time to emulate his style and get some adidas gear.
At the moment we have a great deal on all adidas clothing: Buy one get one half price , which by my calculations, is probably about the same deal Dustin gets when buying his adidas clothes.
Why not pop in this weekend and take a look at this cracking offer.
Note: Available on current stock items only, cheapest item half price.
Life begins at 50
We hear a lot about this new generation of young golfers who spend as much time in the gym as they do on the course; the guys who bomb it a mile and reduce 7,500 yard courses to pitch and putt.
Now, we're not saying Paul Broadhurst doesn't go to the gym and we're not suggesting he's short off the tee by any means, but the 50-year-old thoroughly deserved his moment in the spotlight this weekend and it reminded us of one of the reasons we love golf so much - age is just a number!
'Broady' produced a flawless final round at Carnoustie to claim a two-shot victory at the Senior Open Championship, a fine way to celebrate his debut in the event. The high-class field contained names - the likes of Tom Watson (66), Bernhard Langer (58) and Ian Woosnam (58) - who would have made Broadhurst feel quite the whippersnapper, as we were treated to a weekend of high drama courtesy of some of the game's biggest names from yesteryear.
This week sees the final Major of the season get underway at Baltusrol in Springfield, N.J., the drama keeps on coming! Whatever happens, you probably won't see a better final-day performance than Broady's four-under 68, quite some performance at Carnoustie we must say, check out the highlights if you missed the action.
