40 years later…

If someone were to ask you to name the first caddie that popped into your head – or the name of any caddie for that matter – our money is on Steve Williams. Are we right?

It’s not surprising given the fact he was on the bag of a certain Tiger Woods during his supreme dominance between 1999 and 2011, not to mention winning the Masters again with Adam Scott thereafter. Well, in a recent interview, the New Zealander confirmed that he “absolutely” plans to stop caddying in 2018, rounding off a fruitful 40-year career at the top of the game.

This makes us wonder: How important do you think a caddie is? How influential is a caddie on a professional’s ability to play their best golf?

Get a Grip

Take a look at your grips, you may feel they are ok but if you compare them to a new grip you will be surprised at the difference. Even though they may not look worn, grips get harder and a bit shiny over time, the consequence is that you start gripping the club harder which leads to poor shots and higher scores.

Come in and look at the different grips available, they may save you a few shots this winter.

Look Ahead to 2018

I realise that we're still a few months away from 2018, but now is defintely the time to start thinking about what you need to improve to make 2018 your best golfing season.

Regular coaching is important to improve golfers game and the winter offers a great opportunity to work hard on improving areas of your game which let you down this year. So, if you're looking to improve your game, why not book yourself some regular coaching?
