Sign-up sheets for the Somerset Bowl are now up on the notice board, put your name down if you are interested in playing.

2018 Events

Fixtures are now available on the club website by clicking here or pop into the pro shop and we have a list printed out.

It's a New Era

Our January poll captured the imagination of many of you as we asked you to consider whether Tiger Woods would make a triumphant return to the fairways in 2018. Here are the final results:

• 58% think Tiger will fail to win a tournament this year
• 33% believe the American will win a PGA Tour event
• 9% believe he’ll get one closer to Jack Nicklaus’ major victories record

As we head into February, keep an eye out for our new poll later this week. With lots of the major brands releasing new products over the coming weeks, we want to know which one you’d like to try the most. Of course, we will be receiving lots of exciting bits next month so be sure to pop your head into the shop next time you're at the club.

Odyssey O-Works Black and Red Putters

Many of the mallets in this new O-Works range feature a new short slant hosel that gives them a toe hang. This style has proved very popular on tour as it allows players with naturally arcing putting strokes to finally get the forgiveness and alignment benefits of a mallet.

With so many head, hosel, colour, length and grip options available, it really is worth coming to try before you buy to get the perfect putter for your stroke.

Grip Check

Take a look at your grips, you may feel they are ok but if you compare them to a new grip you will be surprised at the difference. Even though they may not look worn, grips get harder and a bit shiny over time, the consequence is that you start gripping the club harder which leads to poor shots and higher scores.

Pop in-store and have your grips checked today, we have plenty of grips available in the pro shop so come in and look at which ones you would like for a great price. We will even fit them so they are ready for your next round!
